I need to get a tach. It felt like it never completely wound up. It ran really smooth, but it sounded like it still had more it could go. Not that it felt struggling at all, just that it still had more to give.

For a 90hp V4 Crossflow the stock prop is a 3-blade aluminum prop with a 13-inch to 13-3/4-inch diameter and a 17-inch or 19-inch pitch. . The one I have now is 17 inch. Going to 15 inch on my 90hp V4 Crossflow would put less load on the engine, correct?

@racerone, I saw you post in another thread about a way to check if the crankcase isn't sucking in unmetered air. I did a search on that and I guess one suggestion was to remove the carburetors and put a seal plate over the intake manifold. Then I think you somehow plug off exhaust openings too...

Ha! I googled it. The bleed system appears to be the Recirculation System. I was just reading about that last night. I think it was a suggestion by Joe Reeves. . See, I'm learning.😊 See, I'm trying. 😊

How about the recirculation valves? I guess I can check that they aren't plugged, or stuck open.

What's the bleed system? Bowls aren't plastic.
