Choke works with hot / cold water.----If thermostat ( vernatherm ) has issues then choke will not operate as intended.

You will need that junction box and a control box for electric shift.-----Smooth running motors,----They are thirsty.----Depends on how many hrs you put on in a season/----Not much point in spending $10,000 for a new motor to save $200 / per season on fuel.

Test electric shift and a few other things before spending hard earned beer tokens.
