    You could see if there is room ...maybe under the exhaust cover to put an anode in the water jacket .

    These odd fire engines were made by chopping 2 pots off their V8 engine (they are a 90⁰ V6 ) . I have spent some time and the only thing I can find is a points dizzy off a early jeep commando ..... or as Scott says ...a DUI hei dizzy .🙂

    1st thing I would check is the state and mounting integrity of any sacrificial anodes that may be inside the water jacket . 🙂
