I see it all as bad connections.
Most with this kind of issue they clean a connection or two which is good, but need more clean. Look close at the lug and under the insulation jacket. Most forget about the grounds, but they are very important
Not judgemental at all, you rolled the dice and you won, same is if someone decided I'm not going to change the oil in my car/truck and I sold it with 150K miles and it's still running. Yaah you win
