Trim is the angle of the keel vs. water level. So, a zero angle would be even with the water level. Generally, you want a slight upward angle at rest and not too much upward while underway. I’m hoping for a slight up angle at rest (0.5-1.0 degrees). And less than 3 degrees underway. The...

Marine gas gauge shows less than empty.

The best part of this is that you will never run out of gas :ROFLMAO: European senders are 180 ohms . . . US senders are 240 ohms. I am wondering if it a gauge/sender mismatch

Windlass Goes Up but not Down

Yes, as AD said the solenoids should be near the windlass, so as to keep the high-current wire runs as short as practical.

Windlass Goes Up but not Down

Well, you can test a few things . . . Free fall . . . let out some chain (manually if you have to) so that the anchor is hanging from the bow roller. Then go hit the down button. See if anything happens. Self launching . . . with the anchor in its full up position, loosen the chain...

Windlass Goes Up but not Down

Aside from any electrical issues as mentioned . . . I am wondering (asking) if the bow roller is the 'self-launching type' and if the windlass is set for 'free fall' feeding.

The back seat is OK . . . Not an issue. There is a side panel that I could have left out, because they removed it to run some wiring.

Disconnect the tachometer and see if the problem goes away. Also remember that you bought a 33 year old boat. There could be all kinds of issues, that the seller & God don't know about.

    I/O (Sterndrive) Conversion to Outboards

I've been asked that by others as well . . . My materials, supplies, and tooling were about $12K. The Navel Architect was $5K . . . My time invested is about 400-450 hours. I would guess a shop would charge $30-40K, as it would basically be an extension and not a stand-alone bracket.
