    GPS Antenae is an Antenae is an Antanae ?

    My ICOM GPS died recently . I have replaced it with a newer Garmin 178c. Both units use an antenae with a BNC connector. Will the ICOM antenae which is in place work for the Garmin? I also have the Garmin antenae to use if needed by see no reason to switch it out if the one in place will work.
