    Change Bellows VP 270 Drive

    I saw the sticky on pulling the upper and turning it sideways. Do you have to drain the drive oil for this? Also whats the easiest way to change the exhaust bellow? Are there any other things that might need to be replaced (water pickup hose etc?) Thanks,

    Volvo 290 lower unit

    I bought a used lower unit off ebay. It was advertised as a 1990 290. I recently got it and there is a ridge on the prop shaft before the bearing housing. I dont see other 290's with that. I bought a 280/290 fish line protector/spacer. and it doesnt go on the shaft far enough. Am I missing...

    Volvo AQ231A

    Have an AQ231A in my 89 baretta phaser 230 cuddy. What model stern drive came with this - 270, 275, 280, or 290? What is a good prop? I have a 14x19 aluminum michigan. Hole shot isnt great with a load. It tops out at 43 mph.

    Lost Spinner Cone aq231A????

    Just yesterday I replaced my prop on an AQ231A volvo. Tightened the cone as hard as I could and the allen bolt. Went for a run, beached the boat and noticed its gone so had to limp back to the dock. I'm wondering how this could happen??? Any ideas
