    Putting the motor back in and tightned the rear mounts. Working on getting the alighnment right and noticed a lot of play in the rear mount area. Is this normal? Do the bushings wear out back there. Thanks

    My TBI manifold is getting crusty around the water ports. Looking for an automotive replacement, but it doesn't match up style wise with a 98 vehicle. Mine is a 1 peice all iron with a thin gasket under the throttle body. Any ideas?

    ex. manifold gaskets

    Have a set of 3 year old risers, spacers, and manifolds, that are in very good condition. The 2 surfaces where these parts bolt together are less than perfect. There is plenty of meat left but some corrosion on the gasket surfaces. I am going to resurface them, and wondering what type of paint...

    loose shift cable

    Just pulled my lower unit and noticed water in the jaw area, then noticed the shift cable wasn't tight to the bell housing. Is the nut on the transom side attached to the cable housing? Doesn't want to tighten down.

    motor mount pads shot

    Working on a 2000 searay 245. Pulling the motor out and noticed where the front mounts lag down to, they look like raised pads 5" tall about a foot long, 8" wide. Not sure whats in there, but the lags are stripped out. Any idea about what product to use?

    I've got a sweet running 10 year old, 500 hour, salt water 305 that needs to come out because of a rotten oil pan. What say about replacing the freeze plugs while its out? Or if it ain't broke don't fix it?

    Will be pulling my 305 GM bravo to replace my oil pan. Want to do a few things to it while it's out. How can I tell how much life my coupler has left to it? What goes out on them , the rubber or the splines? My manifolds are a few years old. They work fine, should I bother changing the gaskets...
