    Is my trailer too short?

I just wondered if my trailer is too short? I just redid my bunks (left them long but might cut down a little shorter) and I was looking at the fact my trailer sticks off the back support of the metal about 12 inches.. not sure if this is an issue or not? Thanks in advance Rob

One cylinder, slipped prop, clutch dog

Spark jumped a 5/16 gap just fine. Strong blue spark in both cylinders. Coils were installed new earlier this year OMC black ones. Points had a little bit of pitting on them. I cleaned them and reset them. I'll try this and report back! Thanks!

One cylinder, slipped prop, clutch dog

Up until yesterday when I had the boat out the answer would’ve been yes. I’ve fished it all season. I’ll look at magneto and report back there. Glad my instincts were right to check it first.

One cylinder, slipped prop, clutch dog

I had a puff of white smoke come out of exhaust like motor was over heating for like 3 seconds. I killed it and gave it a few minutes. Head never felt overly hot. No signs of over heating. Fired back up to limp back to the dock. She ran good so I have it more throttle. No more smoke. I’m sure...

1978 Lund Deep V Hull, bow raising up dangerously high

Y’all solved my overly simple problem. Moved weight forward and motor boat did just fine. I moved tiller seat up too. Helped a bunch. Thanks everyone

One cylinder, slipped prop, clutch dog

My outboard did this this a few time today where it suddenly got weak. Motor sounded a little different and seemed to underperform as well on the top end compared to what I’m used to. You can see from video I think it cut to one cylinder, but I wanted a second and third opinion. Other ideas off...

    G-Flex Use

I ordered a tube of 3M 5200 and a tube of G flex. I tried to cancel the order for the g flex, but it showed up anyways. I have to pay for a label for return shipping, and its worth just keeping at this point. I have replaced many of the rivets on my boat and coated them in 5200. I'm trying to...

1978 Lund Deep V Hull, bow raising up dangerously high

Yes I can do the portable tach. I've got one somewhere here at the house, and I'll dig it out of a box. I noticed the waterline being pretty abnormal when I took that Picture too. Strange thing is the only things in the boat are a gas can, battery and the outboard all near the stern. Nothing...

1978 Lund Deep V Hull, bow raising up dangerously high

I've got a 25 Hp and a 35 HP motor I can throw on it to try. The bow rising thing has made me too nervous to try up to this point.

1978 Lund Deep V Hull, bow raising up dangerously high

I'm sure the 15 is underpowered, but I need a motor for the HP restricted lake around me.

1978 Lund Deep V Hull, bow raising up dangerously high

Boat is aluminum, 20” transom Not sure on hp rating no sticker Bow stays up in air whole time I’ve got it in water if I’m only one in it. I’ve never been able to get bow to lower even when it is trying to plane unless I’ve got a second person in the front. I’ll get the model number as soon...

Motor is 2 stroke. 1983 Johnson. 20" Transom. Fuel tank and battery are sitting in back near transom right now. Basically ive got all the weight of the boat in the back.
