    I was out today when I hit a good size wave the boat cut out. It happened twice, It then started up with no problem, just wondering what to check, if anyone has had this issue before. I'll start with grounds, harness and battery connections.

    I was going to use Rust-Oleum Topside Paint, but then I accidentally discovered COMET cleaner..

    I was going to paint just the topside of my boat as it was pretty ratty looking, especially the back deck top. I used some Comet, and scrubbed it well so that the paint would adhere to it, but then I realized it looked freaking amazing when I was done. It turns out I'm not going to paint it...

    Nobody fishing?

    We drifted with the tide under the Verrazano Narrows Bridge, the water depths under the bridge are around 60-80 feet deep. I caught a small Sea Bass, a nice size Dogfish (Sandshark) and a Sea Robyn, all caught on a Fluke Rig with minnows. Not a bad go to Rig, as I caught 3 different species of fish.

    😲 Thanks for clarifying what this storage box is, and if I may,,, what an awesome job restoring this boat. I had no idea this was a built in cooler. I also have one on my 1985 Bowrider. I basically use it for storage, I was wondering why there was an outside drain hole on the front port side...

    Outdrive oil leak..

    It could be the shift shaft seal. I had the same issue.

    Any Helix 5 Chirp GPS G3 owners, I can't find the low water depth alarm selection anywhere.

    It worked like a charm. I was finally able to access the Alarms menu.
