    Slave Solenoid

Was fooling around with the boat today and tried the key in the start position.......engine did not turn over. I measured the voltage on the slave solenoid (yellow wire w/ red stripe) coming from what I believe is the key and it measured about 8.5V. Doesn't seem like enough voltage to "throw"...

    U-Joint Bellows Install

Is it true that the expansion tool is ONLY required for the exhaust bellows installation and NOT the u-joint bellows? If so, that leads me to believe that it slides on "fairly easy"........ Not really looking forward to this project.

Is it possible to pressure test the OD while it has lube in it just to see if it holds pressure? Was going to do just the impellar and such but thought I saw a very small amount of gear lube in the bellows when I removed the OD, so I thought I would bring it to a local pro to pressure test and...

    Belt Squeal

Have an occasional belt squeal........thought it was due to a coolant leak. Tonight I noticed the voltage didn't climb to the charging level right away, usually goes to ~14V as soon as the engine hits 1000RPM.......tonight it sat at ~1500RPM @ 12v for a few seconds then climbed to 14V. When it...
