    Anyone know what the inside diameter is of the cooling hoses going to the manifolds on a SBC are? Want to get some "plugs" to help minimize the mess when I replace my risers...........:)

    Boat/Trailer Position

    How far off the back of the trailer can the boat sit (behind the rollers). I think I may need to move the boat back to reduce the tongue weight. I have a tandem axle roller Venture trailer. I only trailer twice a year (in/out of the water) and store the boat on the trailer during the winter.

    Planning on replacing my risers this off season. The manifolds are FWC'd. Anyone have any tricks on draining the manifolds other than just removing the hoses at the bottom? Trying to eliminate as much of a mess as possible........don't need to drain the entire cooling system.......

    Mercruiser Alternator

    I am in need of a new alternator. Current one is a Mando 817119-2. Any suggetsions on where to purchase? I see them on eBay anywhere from $70 to $159. Also, the one I have is 55 amps. Should I get a higher current one? Maybe 100A?
