    Question for the pros! 2003 4 stroke 150 Yamaha

    I have a surging at idle problem that happens on the muffs and in the water. Also sometimes it just dies at idle too. At higher rpms it runs like a top. All filters have been replaced,injectors sent off and cleaned,spark plugs replaced,ect.. Could this be a sensor problem of some type?

    Re-sealed my first Cobra SX drive...bellows was full of gear lube.

    Not that bad of a job! Pressure tested to 14 psi after it was assembled and no leaks!Vacuum test was good too... Feel like i learned something..:D Did the bellows,gimbal bearing and everything is ready to bolt back on.. The SX is not bad at all to work on..I liked it.

    Diameter question

    Looking at the Solas Amita props.They offer two different diameters in the 17 pitch for my motor. I have enough clearance for the larger size than my original 14.5 prop. Any benefits in stepping up in size? Only about 15 bucks difference in price too.

    New Mercruiser drain and fill plug gaskets

    I have noticed on the 2009 and up Alpha drives they are now using a yellow rubber type crush gasket instead of the blue ones. Anyone know if these are just a newer design or must they be used on the new drives? Doing a service on one right now and i only stock the blue gaskets..:rolleyes:

    Fuel injection help please! Any 4 stroke techs?

    This is a 2005 Yamaha 90hp, F90TLRD,4 stroke. It had a ton of water in the gas. Cleaned all lines,tank,replaced filters now no pulse from the injectors. Injector pump is working but the injectors themselves will not fire. Any info on what else could be checked??
