    Ok guys I’ve changed the fuel pump on my 76 15hp evinrude. But it still seemed like it still wasn’t putting out as much power as I thought it should be. I pulled a coil wire and it ran.     Fd-11 points with multi-meter

    So I took racerone’s advice and you tubed a video about using a meter to set points. Look at pictures. Points are open. Timing mark on armature and magneto are way off? And yes I know there’s 2 marks. Why would it be so far off? Thx

    Ok so you guys that have been following this. I primed the motor yesterday with the pressurized tank. Gas started coming out of the front of carb? Float stuck or something else? I just rebuilt this carb. Thx

    FD-11 question about TDC?

    Question about top dead center. Look at pics in reference to TDC. Piston is just at TDC but points and cam lobe are not lined up? Is this right? Wrong? Thx

    1976 Evinrude 15 hp. Help.won’t run on boat.

    Bought this motor from a guy in December. Took it to lake in March wouldn’t run WOT. Rebuilt carb, checked float, runs great in barrel. Took it out today won’t take off in gear? Just dies out. Any help or advice would be appreciated. I’m about to throw it in lake or take it to someone else. Thx

    FD-11 impeller replacement.

    Ok I read the manual or the book. It says to put a thin bead of sealer #1000 on the lower unit surface then the water pump plate. What other type of sealer can be used? I’ve never used a sealer when replacing impeller. Thx

    1976 Evinrude 15hp

    Hey guys, just rebuilt the carb on this motor. The reason I rebuilt this carb is because it was spitting and sputtering on the water and hard to start after it died. Had this thing running great in a barrel. Got it to the lake and it’s doing same thing? Any ideas? I’m stumped? Thx
