This is it. Has the 470 in it. Does the 3 front new cross member fit inside the present engine berth or do I have to extend the berth opening forward?

Thanks I just noticed this is in the wrong category hopefully a mod changes it. I appreciate your answer but can you tell please tell me what’s involved changing the gear ratio. I’m leaning towards rebuilding the 170 but checking options. Thanks.

From Mercruiser 170. What's the simplest different mercruiser engine to drop in if there is one where the engine would bolt up to the 170 throughhull and drive? Or simplest total replacement with minimal stringer and engine mount add ons? Thanks.

As mentioned rostering supports today got some left. They are plywood three sheets tabbed together, and I like to put a piece of plywood on the flat on top for holding the floor sheet screws better than trying to screw into the plywood sheets when they are side by side, screws don’t holid as...

Been busy with other things. Will be back at it tomorrow. changed mind and using 2 sheets of 3/4” plywood which is what it had on before, and even with rot on the bottom of the transom, u could reef on the outdrive and motor and no flex anywhere, everything was tight as a rock. I should be 2 and...
