    fuel pump diaphragm????

    I have a 1990 merc 115. I was thinking that I had a fuel pump issue so I took a part the pump to see what was inside, pretty simple thing........question is how do you know if the diaphragms are bad or do they just get weak over time?Also one of the check valves appears to be partially sucked...

    fuel pump or not???

    I have a 1990 merc 115, went out today for the first time this year........4 mile run out to fishing area.....ran fine....disconnected fuel line and hooked it up to the kicker motor, trolled for 6 hrs....switched back to main motor fired right up idled for a little bit....sped up to about 3/4...

    1990 merc 115 I4 questions

    I have just purchased a 1990 115 merc I4. First my starter spins but does not engage.........any help? Next I am wondering if there is a way to check the oil injection pump? Is there a way to check the water pressure (impeller)other than watching the water come out of the tell tale? Any help...
