    Carb setup on Evinrude 9.9

    I have a 75 Evinrude 9.9. I rebuilt the carb and reinstalled it. I noticed when I installed it that there was a set screw on the Pawl - Starter Interlock? How do I set this? I can't seem to find any information on it. I replaced it at the same time, just not sure how to adjust it properly...

    Sludge from prop

    I've searched and read that milky oil coming from the center of the prop is just normal. Unburnt fuel/oil. Today I ran my 9.9 on muffs for a while tuning etc. here's a picture from it. Is this really normal?

    Exhaust oil in pump

    I've been working on this Evinrude 9.9 I got for free. I dropped the leg on it and found this: Why is there oil and exhaust chunks/gunk in with the water pump? It's a mess lol. Should I power wash it out on the lower and upper legs? What do I need to do to stop this from happening? Thanks...
