    Bent prop shaft

    I have a 2001 25 HP Merc that I got used, I checked out the lower unit and the shaft at the very end is .50 out of round or in other words bent.     Sea Ark, new/used

    They seem to hold their value so why not buy new vice used? I've got the wants without the budget that is why I'm thinking of the 160 or the 167 with low four stroke HP, any suggestions would be appreciated. Wider is better when in shallow water and ease of planing with low HP right? Thanks, Tom
