When installing the water jacket gasket should a sealant be used in conjunction with the fibre gasket? I have some Evinrude gasket sealer, and wondering if I should use it? Also is it recommended to use this on the bolt threads or some type of anti seize compound? Thanks for any info.

My motor runs great when warm. However, at cold start it runs for 5 seconds and will stall, unless I am quick on the throttle and up it to half throttle.....obviously opening up the throttle plate to let it breath. Choke solenoid and choke linkage/plate position is good and works well...
