    How do you cut the threaded pipe on aerator pumps?

    I’m replacing the aerator pump on my 2002 Basstracker. I need to cut the threaded thru hull fitting pipe so the flow rite drain actuator will accept it. I don’t want to damage threads because it has the screw into the flow rite. How do I cut it? I’m afraid a hacksaw might make a crooked cut.

    Arco Power trim motor loud

    I have a 50 HP merc 2 stroke, ELPTO. The trim motor was rusted out bad, so changed it with an ARCO and now the motor sounds quite a bit louder. Has anyone had this happen to them? Is it normal for the ARCO motor to be louder? Thanks:)

I read the switch out with my ohmeter and hooked up the load to the top spade, the source to the middle spade.
