I have a 50hp thunderbolt 1982. I get over 12 volts to the large solenoid terminal. theres like 3 volts to both the small terminals key on but not cranking. is this the norm?
i have a 50hp merc and its leaking fuel. appears to be leaking from a blue diaphram/ cover on the side of the carb behind the starter. is this the fuel pump?

some may be tired of my questions, but here goes another. i was told that when the control box and levers for my 82 merc 50hp wear out, i either have to find a used set or another motor. is that true? are there other options. thanks everyone
