    I am looking at a boat that has no engine it had a omc king cobra ford 460 and drive ​what I want know is can I put in a smaller ford engine like the 351 is it and be bolt in or can I use some other engine also what drive will bolt up. jim ​

    did carver ever make a 27' boat with around 8 ' beam I am talking to a person with a 1987 carver 27' with twin 180 's that he says have 8 ' beam if its 10 ' I want to stay away from it for I want to tow it

    fake cl adds

    seams to me that there is now adds on cl that is fake they just not sound right to me. one add on Pittsburgh cl says free boat but boat is in police impound lot buyer to pay half of impound fee have to pay $175 to get it out and owner pay $175.

    omc cobra to mercruiser

    I am getting a 1988 subird boat this weekend used to have omc cobra but only thing there is gimbal and interplate will a 140 merc bolt up to inter plate and matching drive bolt to gimbal or do I need to replace everything can't seam to find a cobra

    15 elh lower unit oil cap.

    I think my lower unit seals are bad I drained the oil and got 8 oz. of oil I was test run motor and oil driped out of lower unit not sure from lower unit or out of exhaust port jim

    15 elh top shift pin

    1987 Yamaha 15 elh removed top gear shift pin to remove lower unit now I can't get pin in one side is open ( left when face back of motor ) but other side ( right side ) I can't even see hole anyone ever had that pin out
