can i replace omc 4.3 with v-8

I may be getting a
88 sunbird 20 ' cuddy
no motor or drive
used to have omc 4.3
and cobra drive
can a v-8 fit

As long as the engine side mounts are in the right place, and the engine cover is long enough, yes. The transom cut-out for the cobra is the same as a Mercruiser.
