    Outdrive only moves prop at low rpms

    1988 4 Winns 350 omc . Engine revved up quickly while at about 3000 rpms, then would only move boat at low rpms. I would presume that the coupler let go, but anything else it could be? Verifying that I won't pull the motor for the wrong problem. Thank you, John

    Edelbrock 1409 4v slows down after 3000 rpms

    Edelbrock Slows after 3000 rpms and sounds like it is bogging down. Carb clean inside with new accelerator pump. Any ideas? fuel pressure is 4 beginning accelleration, 3 during running to 3000 rpms. Too little fuel pressure ?Thank you, John

    Ac Delco electronic dist timing procedure

    I have a 1999 Chevy 350 with AC Delco ignition. I could not find the timing plug so I set the timing to 10 degrees. I bought the timing plug to set base timing. When I plug in the timing plug, the timing still reads 10 degrees. I thought it would change using the plug. Am I correct or not...

    I have read many posts on the ESA system and problems and adjustments. Why does unplugging the ESA cause the outdrive cable to lock up??? Is there a relay/solenoid that allows the cable to be shifted or what??? Thank you, John
