I have a 1999 Chevy 350 with AC Delco ignition. I could not find the timing plug so I set the timing to 10 degrees.
I bought the timing plug to set base timing. When I plug in the timing plug, the timing still reads 10 degrees. I thought it would change using the plug. Am I correct or not? Also, if the plug is in, the engine will not start. I have to remove the timing plug so it will start then plug it in. I have not checked the timing at 4000 as the directions say. The 4109 Edelbrock
4v will not get above 3000 rpms. I will post that problem in the carb section. Thank you in advance, John
