If anyone has any idea as to what and how to check it , I would greatly appreciate it .
It ran fine the last time I had it out , but this time it would do nothing .

I have a 97 model 25 horse Johnson , after it idles for just a short time it will not turn any rpm's . If I let it set for awhile it cranks and runs fine . I can run long and hard but as soon as I idle it refuses to run right . I have replaced primer bulb , no effect . Any help is appreciated .
I have a 97 model 25 horse short shaft motor , I need it to be a long shaft . Where is the best , and cheapest place to find one . Bay does not carry one .
