I have a 97 model 25 horse short shaft motor , I need it to be a long shaft . Where is the best , and cheapest place to find one . Bay does not carry one .
I also am in the same situation with a 1985 25 Evinrude short shaft. I was able to find a conversion kit on ebay that I bought for $71.00 but I am now finding out it will cost close to $200.00 to have a mechanic install the conversion kit because they have to pull the power head. This is more than I wanted to spend on this project.
