    I have an Ikea lower unit. Box of parts with self assembly. I have most of it figured out but have three shims that I do not know where they go, except they fit the prop shaft. Any help would be appreciated. Sorry Motor is a 70hp Johnson J70TLCOS. Have looked at videos and parts diagrams...

    Having troubles with my 1985 70HP Johnson. took hood off and moved the throttle to full forward. Shifts great f&r. Problem when throttle is moved forward carb linkages to not move. Novice at this. Thank you

    unloaded boat and put in neutral warm up lever raised, pushed in key and choke solenoid activated, fired up then stalled. Turned key again and nothing. Loaded came home and jumped starter nothing, Replaced starter and solenoid. top terminal to starter, positive to lower terminal, ground wire...
