ok so my transom is partially rotten ... my thought is to cut out the bad section and repair it ... but with safetyy in mind (and not wanting to lose my motor to the lake gods) i thought id ask the community what they think ...
im needing electrical parts for my 69 merc1000 (thunderbolt ignition) i was looking for a stator and the iboats parts list only has 100 hp as a 4 cyl. mine is 6 ... how do i get the right part ?
