    Maybe try peeling it off while applying a "little" heat with a heat gun. Worth a shot before chemicals

    Glass shop isn cheap either. I dropped a bit over $500 for one flat panel on my Chris Craft. But they came to the house and got it done while I was at work. Hugely convenient!

    Theres a small diameter "clear hose" that runs from the fuel pump to the carb. Make sure theres no fuel in it. If there is, the diaphram is ruptured, and fuel is running past it. If not, check the filter in the fuel pump, in the carb inlet, water separator (if theres one). Pickup in the tank...

    Amazon has Schrader valve /hose barb fittings pretty cheap. Not sure on your hose size

    Thats why I use my cooling system pressure tester. I already have it, so I just swap the hose and fitting when I want to attach it to the drive. The hand pump and gauge works perfectly for the job.

    I used a cooling system pressure test kit and adapted the hose to the drive with a fitting. Pump up to pressure, and let her sit overnight. Very easy

    Wow! Hack off tht platform and its an 18' boat for $90k! Grady or Parker are my wish list used or new. But they also carry big price tag new or used. The ole Chris Craft is just gonna have to keep running for now! I instaled a Minn Kota Riptide this year, so that should improve fishability!

    I bought my 1st and only brand new boat in 1999 at the Newport Boat Show. It was a 1999 Four Winns 258 Vista, fully loaded and the biggest Vp Duo Prop offered. The boat was beautiful for $39K. I couldnt even imagine the cost now. Its completely unaffordable

    This is a 3.7 190? There is no alternator unless someone upgraded. If you have the original system, time to upgrade

    Should be fine either way! Lap joint would eliminate cupping at the joint. But the T&G should help also
