    225 wont idle down,

    i just intstalled a reman pwr hd, and fired it up. Seems to run fine, but is running 2000 rpm, with throttle in neutral. Running on muffs, and prop disengaged, double oil, timing at TDC Messed with carb synch, idle timing, but to no avail. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

    Temperature switch installation qustion 3.0 90 deg looper

    Installing a reman powerhead, and tranferring my 2 temp switches (brown/ tan), and the old ones had a "grease", in the cavity, probably for heat transfer. My Selco manual does not mention this. Is there a special grease for this? is there a recommendation. Thanks for any help and advice.

    Remanufacture experience

    All, any help is appreciated. 2001 225 90 deg Loop, 3.0 Johnson with a failed rod bearing. Looking at getting it remaned. Does anyone have experience with "Boats Parts Store" in OK? No, using Blackbird due to all the bad posts! Any other suggestions,,,would do it myself, if could find a good...
