Im looking for a link/knowledge of the difference between a 60 HP weight..and say a 70 and a 90 johnson. Im looking to repower my tracker boat, its rated for a 60hp but i want something more like a 70, or a 90 if the weight isnt much more.
How do you guys go about building a boat? i know i can draw good plans, but haw do you know it will sit in the water right..etc? just wanna hear your thoughts.. im looking into this and im interested. Maybe ina month or so i will post some plans.
Read about these plugs in a magazine, seem good for cars, just don't know about outboards..It's a spark plug with 3 contact points instead of one. They are said to offer gas efficiency,more power and cleaner burns. Tell me what you think..

Have a 200hp mercruiser engine matched with a alpha one drive.Today i go to start her up, she starts fine. Go to put her in gear conks out either way. Any suggestion on to what this problem could be? thanks in advance
i have 25 hp johnson on my 1992 tracker. its 16 foot and is rated for a 60 HP. the prop on the 25 is currently a 3 blade 15p. i run about 25mph with me in boat (250lb)..and batterys and gas...equipment etc. i would love to upgrade to a 60 but money is short as of now. Wondering if a 4 bladed 15p...
Hey there...Have a 1991 Johnson 25hp. Read up on it that it has a 4 amp alternator...So i have a question! If my battery is 11.5 volts, how long would my motor take to fully charge it to 12.5?

Alright, have a 1991 johnny 25hp. has great electric start...works everytime. Just wondering how to start this motor if the battery was to go dead. There is a electric primer...i think it has to be moved or so. Any ideas? thanks
How fast can i expect of this? Its a 16 footer, 78in beam.. hull weighs i belive 600lbs. Motor would be pushing 850lbs with me in it. 25 johnson... any ideas? its rated for a 60hp...so i dont know what to expect.
