I need bowl and metering block gaskets for my friends holley 2 bbl on his 4.3 VP.

is this the correct gasket set https://www.holley.com/products/fue...r_components/carburetor_gaskets/parts/108-200
It says 4150 gaskets doesntmetion 2300, but if you buy the gaskets individually holley states 2330 and 4150 - so I assume they fit...
when I last rebuilt this carb in the past I bought a OEM VP kit because I couldn't find the OEM carb number in holleys literature. It is a stock VP 2 bbl carb, 2300 style, but suspect they obfuscate the normal way of getting Holley parts off the airhorn #.

@Scott Danforth - I figured you would know...

he is selling the boat for parts as after fighting fuel contamination, he found the transom rotten in addition to needing bellows.. I know if the carb is cleaned again we can run it off an OB tank... its a shame as interior etc is in good shape. 2002 glastron GX185 4.3/SX drive. PM me if anyone needs parts as engine is fresh water and in great shape.

go here. use the search function for your list number (on the air horn).

download it and use it as a tool.

there are two styles of metering block gasket and bowl gasket.

however yes, generally the bowl and metering plate gaskets are the same for 2300 and 4150's.

Thanks, for resharing the list, issue with this one -its not in that list, thats where I got stumped the first time, and paid too much for an OEM kit as even Mikes carb said one of his kits would "probably" fit.

airhorn numbers are
3858330
75006-1
2631
Closest I can find on the list are 75009 and 75007...

they should work, if not can rtn them. Thanks

fudge..... its not in the holley published information either. (the list I turned into a spreadsheet)

However looking on-line at the rebuild kit, the metering block gasket is the same, however the bowl gasket is slightly different (appears to be the older style bowl gasket), however based on experience, it should work.

yeah the ones in the pic of the kit match what I found on my phone from when I rebuilt the carb in 2023. so should be good.

I can only assume Holley uses unpublished numbers or agrees to only sell those parts to VP? In the end the VP kit was $50-60 more than a aftermarket one so just paid it and it fit and worked good until end of last summer. Took off the fuel filter and the contents turned white, then started working my way back to the fuel tank , broke the antisiphon valve getting it off and after we gave up for the day took a swim and drank a beer and saw cracks on his transom btwn the outdrive and the swim ladder. Ladder is screwed into the transom right at the water line, Im sure they leaked water in and rotted the transom. The bellows lasted longer than the transom on this boat... Needed bellows (still didnt leak), transom repair, and fuel system clean out..
He just got a 2025 Fourwinns H1 /merc 4.5. Real nice lake boat, fairly spartan but perfect for what he does. Splashed it yesterday but was really still too cold (upstate NY) to spend much time on break in
