When I was young we lived off grid in a small house. Our town's Chevy dealer foisted off an old Cocker Spaniel on my dad. That dog liked to lie behind the cook stove in the living room and pass some of the stinkyest gas. That was usually in the dead of winter when the stove was needed for heat as well as cooking.
I had an American Bull Mastiff that used to sit on the carpet......fart, turn around, smell the carpet, then move away..... you could almost see the stench coming as a black-green cloud.
Say we get a ton of electric cars on the road. There's still going to be millions of vehicles requiring gas. I'm guessing gas prices will be jacked sky high. $10/gal plus? It's going to take a long time to eliminate gas engines.....
