Hi guyz!
I found iboats not terribly long ago and I'm really impressed! There's tons of advice on everything boats. I only wish I had found it sooner! I think I would have did some things differently perhaps. Some of that is beyond backing up and redoing so we'll just move forward from here. Hopefully nothing I've done so far will seriously hamper or endanger the boats performance.
So here's my project....it's a fiberglass tri-hull boat that is about 13' 8" long. We got it off a craigslist ad. In hindsight we probably could have done better by waiting for something else but past is past and we have too much in it to stop. Actually, I rather like the boat and am anxious to get it done so I can get it on the water once! I've had the boat for about 2 yrs now so its time to get it done!
One "problem" I have is - I have no idea of the manufacturer or model of the boat. It had a sloppy repaint job on it when I got it. On the side there were white stickers that said "whaler" but I dont think that was a manufacturer name. I have since sanded the paint down and on the original paint I could make out the word "International". I have no idea if that is related to anything or not. I'm posting some pix and if anyone has any idea what make this boat is, I'd appreciate any info you could share! I'll try to post some pix of the project in progress as I have time. To get started, here's some pix of right after I bought the boat with NO work done yet.
