Where is a good place to buy replacement zincs for a 98 Johnson 200hp O/B?
How many zincs are on the motor, I found one that is attached on the back of the lower / middle unit.. I think its part #CM393023Z, are there any more?
That motor has three zinc anodes. It has a bar on the transom clamp, a small rectangular anode on the propshaft bearing carrier and a cube of zinc above the prop. The bar and cube are available most anywhere and are easy to install. The third zinc can only be installed when the geearcase is rebuilt.
