One of those "you gotta try it once" deals.

+1^^^^

Tongue is a wonderful thing. One of the beefiest tasting parts.

In fact that reminds me, I forgot to add GOOD Deli (NY style) to my list of favorites.

Nothing like corned beef, or pastrami, or tongue with the proper fixings, on the proper bread, with good pickles.... ;)

I love lengua, and I like Cabesa, but I just can't do Cesos. Haven't gone there yet.

Well to chime in on the best part of the days events "FOOD TIME"!!!

Well just got back from being on the road for the last week and have found myself eating at a pizza/gausthaus in Nakusp BC, found that I really enjoy the snittzel with the hunter sauce and spatzel on the side (and YUP to the schnapps)

Got home to the wifey cooking/BBQing up 12 oz rib eyes with onions, mushrooms and prawns with bernaise sauce over top
(this was all that was left, I couldn't eat another bite)

and a great dusty martooney (martini) starts with chilled tanquery gin with one drop of vermouth and scotch to coat the glass.

Yeah, don't think I would go there either. Not because the thought of eating brains, more for the thought of getting bovine spongiform encephalopathy, A.K.A. mad cow disease.... ;)

Re: Your Favorite Food(s)?

halfmoa's "Cedar plank" post reminded me of one I missed on my post. Cedar plank smoked/grilled Alaskan Sockeye Salmon fillet cooked on a bed of pickled red onions and topped w a bourbon BBQ sauce, Outstanding! I seem to have a preference for seafood:D
