Why is it that the nice days are the ones I have to work, My Harley is getting lonely!!

I work Sunday-Wednesday then Friday, nicest day of the week, Friday...

That's a good thing to rant about, the weather. For a month we've spent more time below zero than above. It's getting old! -28 as we speak. And, there's no end in sight. High for Sunday/Monday is -10 to -15! Enough already! All I do is plug in vehicles, unplug vehicles. Have a bunch of snow, but it's too cold to go sledding. Been out once.....

Local weatherista says we have a shot at a record low temp tonight so I'm very excited. -15? wouldn't mean much to Wim, but it's pretty cold for around here. Already all the schools are delaying 2 hours for tomorrow. Like it's going to be noticeably warmer at 10 o'clock than at 8. Of course, they were predicting record lows a couple of days ago and they missed it by like 8 degrees. Not talking much about that.

Well I'm about 80 ? miles SE of WIMUSKY, and the weather has been just frigid since the 18th of November.

I am usually a tad warmer than he is, 5-10*.
We've been above 20 only 4 days in 6 weeks.
25* below normal for 6 weeks.
Set a few record lows.
May set some all time low record highs in the next week.

Its -23 right now, and no, the schools are not closing tomorrow.


Now for the bad news.

I pushed one of the boats outside so I could put my truck in the garage.
Boat is crying.
Truck is confused, as she hasn't seen the inside of the garage in 12 years.


And even worse news. I'll be working 12 hours on Sunday, so will miss the Packer game.

Latest Lambeau Field forecast, below zero at kickoff. With temps dropping to -25 Sunday night.

(Rant on) Where are all the tree hugging-frog kissing environmental wacko's at now that we are having record low temperatures. Funny how those crybabies fall off the radar when it gets cold out, but come back with a vengeance in the middle of summer when it warms up like it's suppose to. Oh wait, I just remembered their new excuse...global warming makes it colder in the winter now! (Rant over)

I used to think the Sundancer cursed at me from under it's snowy blanket or perhaps plotted to pitch me overboard during the summer in retaliation for letting it sit outside in the snow. Now I just murmur quietly to it from the warmth of the house, hoping it is deep in hibernation, and thus cannot be bothered to plan my demise...much like a sleeping Grizzly.

The truck on the other hand, is pissed. It tries to asphyxiate me every time I go out to warm it up. :faint2:

Yup COLD (-15?) and a good deal of snow which is still falling. Now the "silver lining" -The snow helps insulate and keeps things nice and quiet. My great wife has a job that is community oriented and she gets to stay home on snow days. The wife and I kind of enjoy the snow days.

Now the dam bad....... Plowed my driveway yesterday and it needs it again today...... plow truck will not start!

Amen, brother! No matter what the weather the "experts" somehow tie it to GW......... Warmed up overnight to -3 because of the cloud cover. That was a nice surprise.....

Yesterday my daughter drove to school and it was -30. No delay which was kinda crazy.......

Next 4 days below zero highs. January and most, if not all, of Feb is usually cold. Hoping for an early spring.....

Funny I just picked up a six pack of New Glarus "cabin fever". pretty tasty actually. need more than 6 to forget about this cold weather though. was -13 this morning. supposed to be -21 sun night.

Yep it's even a nostril freezer here in the banana belt of Canada. Cleared (some / enough) driveway last night and it's all drifted back this morning with the increased winds. The trusty Trailblazer gets out well enough though.

I am hopeful we hit our cold stretch unseasonably early (a couple weeks ago) supposed to be 60 today two weeks ago it was -20 at the house, normally we have a stretch in January where it gets that cold so who knows, as always the weather guessers have no clue, they should stick to gambling....

You guys in the middle of this northeastern front be safe....

22 outside in Raleigh, NC this morning. It rained last night so the doors to our cars were frozen shut this morning. Weather is bad but I am using it as time to plan boat trips for next season. I have several lined up already

St Patrics Day cruise
We have a friend getting married on the coast, we will be boating to the wedding and spending the night on the boat
Guys cruise while the wife has a girls weekend.
