I have an 8 HP Johnson with Model No. J8RL COB.

I don't know that year # but I believe it's pretty new as the 8's are new thus the ratio is 50:1 and use tcw-3 oil.

So you have a 1985 Johnson 8 HP Rope Start with Tiller steering and a 20" Shaft Length. You want to run 50:1 with TCW-3 (2-stroke) oil. Use QL77JC4 (Champion) Spark Plugs, Gap at .030".
