Yamaha T9.9 tilt pin?

I have had 2 tilt pins lost while running with the motor tilted up and running. Is this just me or has anyone else had this problem?
I now have a bolt w/jam nuts.
I ran my Honda for 12 Years and never lost a tilt pin.

My honda 10hp has a tension spring but my yamaha 4 hp does not ( just the little flip latch)...I could see it happening to me. A couple of weeks ago, I looked at my yamaha and thought the pin design seemed a little flimsy.
