I have a 90 H.P. Yamaha, 2004 model. I got a 21p Hustler Prop I am about to install. What is the proper torque for the hub nut? I have a torque wrench and want to make sure I use the proper amount when installing.
Thats what I originally thought. I read on one of these forums that a guy was torquing his to 125lbs! I thought that was a bit excessive. That is the reason that I wanted confirmation before I went to banging it with hammer to get it that tight! Thanks
It really makes No sense at all,....
The only time the prop's Nut is doing anything at all, is in Reverse.....
Other times the thrust of the prop is pushing it On.....
