yamaha outboard issues

hi all this is probably a regular question but ive looked everywhere im stumped !
im trying to find some info on my yamaha 4ohp outbaord. but with no joy at all i just cant figure out the serial number

the serial plate says

YAMAHA 40BR
676BS 250206


hope this makes sense to somebody :/ please help thanks

The Model Year is indicated by a lower case letter in the black field in the lower left or right corner of the motorplate.Note that the letters have been reused throughout the years.​
