Yamaha 60HP ID please

Hi,

I THINK I have a 60HP, 1989 Long shaft 2 stroke electric start outboard. Can someone please confirm my research? Thank you

Secondly, this has sat for around 10+ years after freshwater running. Any suggestions for good sites for parts so I can get it serviced properly? Uk based

Anyone point me in the direction of the correct manual? Searching the Yamaha site didn't help which has made me doubt myself

Finally, anything I need to know about these engines eg weaknesses etc.

Definitely a model 60FE. Long shaft model. 20" shaft length. 1986 model year motor.

Not distributed within the USA. You should be able to contact your local UK Yamaha outboard motor dealer for a copy of the applicable service manual.

Looks to be the equivalent of a USA model C60ELRU. No oil injection.

USA SM number. Should be the same as what you will get from your UK Yamaha dealer.
