Yamaha 30hp Lower Unit Compatibility

My motor is a 1988 Yamaha 30hp 3 cylinder long shaft. I am tearing down the lower unit after what was initially a broken shift rod and have now also found forward gear has a missing tooth. Before I commit to the time and cost of rebuilding I would like to search for a used lower in good shape. I was hoping someone on here may have some insight on what lowers from other years and HP models may fit my motor. I know all 30hp 3 cylinders from 1987 and on should work as well as the 3 cylinder 25hp ones from the late 90's. Do any 40/50hp lowers or possibly lowers from the 2 cylinder 25 or 30s fit up?
