Yamaha 150 2stroke excessive smoke

My 150 smokes bad when trolling or running at low RPM's. If I run it hard for a few seconds it clears up and stays clear until I go back to trolling for a period of time or running slow. Any suggestions?????????????

If you have a VRO system it might to pay to have that looked at by a pro. Could be its sending to much oil out but I don't have a clue how to check that. It actually sounds kind of normal to me.

Check to make sure the oil linkage is still attached to throttle linkage.
If it comes off it will go full open and dump too much oil at low RPM

Was looking at it yesterday. I'm a racecar person and I know very little about boats. Where will the linkage be hooked up??

Bottom carb, port side. Arm that connects the carb linkage to the oil pump. Oil pump has all the little hoses coming out of it like a distributor.
