Hi, Could you put an age to outboard please? It is a Yamaha 4 hp 2 stroke. Blue/white short shaft. 4AS 6EO S 203442

Hi All

Ive been told it may well be 1980 due to the 6E0 Model number but the same person says that motor would be a 4AC not 4AS

Can anyone confirm its year please, thank you

You need to edit your profile so that the country you are in will appear in your post. Your motor is not a North American model. Yamaha began selling Yamaha branded outboard motors in the U.S. starting with the 1984 model year.

It's a 1982 model. The character on the plate is Q, isn't it?? (In the lower right corner of the plate)
