XR 150 identification

How can I tell if my 1980 v6 150hp is a regular 150 or an XR , etc?? For timing specs purposes.

Xr's/MagII will have a spark advance box, will have Xr2/MagII on cowling, Xr 2/MagII timing instructions on decal on front air box and they didnt make them till 1984-85...
