WOT revs??

what should the revs at WOT be on a 70hp evinrude its a 2004 model 3cyl 2stroke, the proper one not a ficht or etec. i'm hitting 5900 at the moment which i think is too high.

you are a little high, 5400 5700.

thanks! thought so i think i'll go a pitch higher on the the prop that should help a little.

Nope, 5900 is perfect with an average load on todays fuel. As long as the rpm is not from slipping (prop is in decent shape). Tell us the top (accurate) speed and we'll run the slip numbers and see where we're at.
