WOT 200 hp Mariner 1992

What is the recommended rpm at idle and wide open throttle. Test drove the boat today and run great. RPMs got up to 6200, think thats a little high. Can anyone help?

Idle should be 600-700. If it is a 200 Pro Max EFI, WOT runs between 6200-6500. All others is 5000-5600.

A little high at WOT hurts less than too low, especially if you run at less then WOT most of the time.

My bass bote with an XR4, which by the book would be 5000 - 5500, does about 6100 with the fuel tank low, the live wells empty, and just me in it.

Full gas tank, live wells, and 2 phat phishermen, it does about 5600.

Most of the time it's running between 3500 and 5000.

6200 still ain't enough but not to bad for a lake motor
