Won't stay running

[sea ray 4.3]

I have a 1996 Searay with the 4.3 litre engine. I just purchased the boat. The problem I have is the boat cuts off randomly for no apparent reason. It doesn't matter if it is just idling or the trottle is pressed. It seems to run a little longer when it is first cranked up but it will then shut off and continue to do so. There is no pattern as it runs different lenghts of time before shutting off. It will always crank right back up after it shuts off. Any help?

I have a 97 with the same problem. It does it at random times. It cranks right back up after it dies except for today. Left me dead in the water.

Had my old '94 V6 do the same thing. I think I solved the problem by stopping water dripping onto the shift interrupt switch....
